Denmark boss praises Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen – 101 Great Goals

After signing a free transfer, it was speculated that Eriksen would play a role in the Red Devils squad.

However, partly because Manchester United failed to sign Frenkie de Jong, Eriksen has started every game of the campaign so far.

Eriksen was particularly impressive when Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-1. The former Tottenham man provided the assist for the third goal and his passing ability was also key to United‘s previous two goals.

His good form also continued during the international break, scoring Denmark’s only goal in a 1-0 loss to Croatia and playing a key role in their 2-0 win over France on Sunday.

Today, Danish coach Kasper Hjulmand is full of praise for Christian Eriksen: “Christian’s age doesn’t matter. I am convinced that Christian has the best footballing years of his career ahead of him.

“He is [Eriksen] so clear about everything he does on a football pitch. This man can’t be stressed on a football pitch. He is so calm, so smart and plays with such great energy. It is truly a pleasure to live.

“He [Eriksen] shows what he is – a world class player. He not only has the x-factor, he also delivers great racing work and is involved in all phases. Nobody can doubt that he is an incredibly important player.

Denmark won’t be in action until November 22, when they kick off their World Cup campaign against Tunisia.

Manchester United, meanwhile, will have a derby clash with Manchester City next Sunday.
