Title favorites Pep Guardiola are aiming for a seventh straight league win and have a point lead at the top of the tree in what appears to be an epic title battle with Liverpool and Chelsea.
Leeds are 15th and are just five points ahead of the last three, but Roberts says Marcelo Bielsa’s side will resume their usual game at the Etihad and relish the prospect of facing some of the best players in the world.
“I think it’s just the way they control the game,” City’s Roberts told leedsunited.com. “They decide what pace they want to play.
“They are comfortable in all situations and you can see all the world class players they have.
“The manager gave them a style where it is difficult to see it elsewhere. But yeah, they have a great team and they show it.
“There is obviously a lot of excitement about the game. You want to play against players like this, compete in the best leagues and be able to play the best.
“But we’re going to literally approach the game like we did against Brentford. We’re going to attack, squeeze high, jump over everyone else and that’s the fearless attitude we have here! “
