Phil Foden has been named as one of Europe’s three most valuable young players.
The Manchester City forward, 21, has an estimated transfer value of £ 128million, according to new figures released by the CIES Football Observatory.
It comes after analyzing 60 top players under the age of 23 in Europe’s five big leagues – the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Haaland, 21, and Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior, 21, also received the same assessment as Foden.
Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood, 20, is fourth on the list with an estimated value of £ 119million, alongside Barcelona star Pedri, 19, and 18-year-old Bayer prodigy Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz.
Despite his slow start to life at Old Trafford, 21-year-old Jadon Sancho is seventh on the list with a valuation of £ 111million – a figure perhaps surprising considering United only paid out £ 73million sterling for the UK international in July.
Meanwhile, Manchester City striker Ferran Torres (21) is valued at £ 102million – a fee likely beyond the reach of cash-strapped Barcelona, who has been linked with a move to the international Spanish.
Another Borussia Dortmund player, England international Jude Bellingham (18), is also valued at £ 102million – as is Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies, 21, who is the only defender to feature in the top ten.
One notable omission from the list is Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
The French international, 22, is not listed because he is at the end of his contract at the end of the season and could join another club for free.
Real Madrid have reportedly been willing to spend £ 197million to sign Mbappe in the summer transfer window, but PSG have refused to sell to the Spanish giants.
