Moorepay invests £ 100million in Greater Manchester economy

Moorepay, the leader in payroll and human resources solutions for SMEs, has announced that it is investing more than £ 100million in the local economy with the opening of a new hub at Lowry Mill, Salford, Greater Manchester.

The move shows Moorepay’s commitment to the region and local talent, following its acquisition earlier in the year. The level of investment also demonstrates confidence in the region as an ideal location for business growth.

Moorepay’s investment in the Greater Manchester economy over the next ten years includes; £ 90million on staff costs, training and development of 180 employees, a £ 1.2million investment in the apprenticeship program with 27 graduates already hired in summer 2018 and additional engagement £ 4.5million over the next nine years and £ 5million in real estate, facilities management and utilities, with a strong focus on local sourcing and suppliers.

The new Northern Hub was officially opened by the Mayor of the City of Salford, Paul Dennett, who said: “We are proud to have another great company in Moorepay that adheres to our vision for the region.
