Report: Manchester United’s Amad Diallo to join Birmingham City on loan

Birmingham City are reportedly getting closer to loaning promising Manchester United prospect Amad Diallo for the end of the season.

Amad Diallo has struggled to make his way into the first team, despite performing poorly ahead of him, having only made three appearances (all subs) since joining the Italian team at Atalanta .

The Ivorian striker is presented as one of the most exciting and promising young people in world football. Regular playing time will be ideal for his development, so stepping away from Manchester United would be the right thing to do.

Manchester United have faced many of the same players consistently regardless of their performance, leaving players like Diallo on the bench or in the Under-23s. This affected his international status if he was excluded from the next CAN tournament for Côte d’Ivoire.

Amad Diallo will be on the hunt for first-team football to give his career a much-needed boost, suggesting that is exactly what he is doing. A source via Simon dobson say the Manchester United youngster is set to join Birmingham on loan until the end of the season.

While the source is not named, expect the news to be released in the coming days.
