Revealed: Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League group stage fixtures

Manchester City will begin their 2022/23 Champions League campaign in Sevilla.

The Premier League champions, who host Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday, are preparing their latest bid to win the UEFA Champions League.

After heartbreak in the final against Chelsea in 2021 and a shock semi-final loss to Real Madrid last season, Pep Guardiola’s side will be hoping for success in the competition this season.

On Thursday, the Sky Blues were placed in Group G; alongside Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and FC Copenhagen.

Summer signing Erling Haaland is set to face his former side, having completed a £51m move from the Bundesliga giants in June.

City begin their European campaign in less than two weeks, with Les Bleus fixtures increasing significantly ahead of the next FIFA World Cup break in November.

On Saturday, UEFA officially confirmed the Champions League group stage fixtures for the 2022/23 season.
